3 years and 11 months

The Citizens of Nexus were given a treat this Gather.  The Princess Annalyn threw a May-Day celebration.  It is a holiday in the Realm of Castles.  There was a brew masters’ jest, a torney, a grand melee, a may-pole dance, a fairy tricks contest, a spellcaster’s accruacy contest, and a grand masquerade.  The day was filled with fun. 

Unfortunately as with all Gathers, there were some sour spots.  The first as far as I know was the Beastman attack/ritual at the Graveyard.  It was horrible.  Many died and we were required to use the ‘Death Bong’ to revive them.  This sadly interrupted the Spirits gathering in the Parlor sponsered by Luelenvati.  the reviving went normally up until the reviving of Sir Simon.  He is bonded to a Sword Wraith in much the same manner as Aerie.  When he was reforming, [this isn’t eyewitness, I was dead at the moment] those there saw shard of green light or glass streak into his body.  As he reformed the green glow disappeared.  The last thing to form were his eyes which glowed green as well.  Other than that, all the revivals were normal. 

The next day was the May-Day celebration.  I’m told it went on quite well and all that participated had a grand time.  My people went off on their wonderings.  Something of note that happened shortly after midday was the arrival of the Lovers.  They were searching for couples that wanted to be joined by them.  They approached 3 different couples: Coralie and David, Ulric and Eir, and Sir Simon and me [Tazmira].  At the time only Ulric and Eir were ready to take that commitment upon themselves.  They were blessed and joined together. 

The next event of note would have to be Glasswing’s ritual.  Those present were asked to join hands, walk in a circle, and sing while Glasswing and Tyrsia planted something.  At the end of the ritual, everyone felt very light and bubbly.  The effect the ritual had on the Forest as a whole was quite surpising.  All present experienced what fairies feel like all the time.  Every living being in the forest was able to wink after this, but it wasn’t winking as fairies do in Nexus, but winking as they do in the Glade.  Every door was discovered to open directly to the Glade.  The final effect was that all the animals in the Forest started talking, like they do in the Glade. 

Captain Nizaam led a group of people to a group of ruins that he had found earlier.  When they finished this exploration, most of the party went to the Masquerade which was attacked towards the end by Nightmare Hosts.

That night after the wonderful Masquerade.  Most of the town went with David to strike a mighty blow to Bonfire and possibly destroy him.  The mission was successful.  The party intercepted Bonfire’s supplies.  The nearby door opened to the Dark Mountains [we don’t know how this was possible, but it happened].  David took most of the supplies through the door with him to give to the Seekers.  He promised to come back in a year’s time.  Coralie was devistated and wept for most of the rest of the night.

A small group of townsmen decided to sleep in the graveyard.  While they were sleeping there, Lies that Fester attacked the Parlor.  He just walked in and killed everyone present.
