Constitution

The Constitution grants the Cabinet the authority to issue mandates for the betterment of the Council. In my mind, there are three major varieties of Cabinet Mandates. They are as follows:

The Forest is a dangerous place. It teams with threats to life and livelihood. Many of these threats are bestial and mindless, but there exists forces consisting of sentient beings that would do the Member-Citizens of the Council of Nexus harm.

This Forest is truly a wondrous place. One of its many wonders is the phenomenon we call the Old Laws. Through a process governed by the Spirits of the Forest, a basic code and system of ethics is placed on all who dwell here. There has been much debate about the justice or validity of the Old Laws, and the Spirits who govern them. This debate is not likely to be resolved.

The backbone of all societies is the contract, when two or more parties enter into an accord to accomplish a mutually beneficial task. Such documents are vital to the building of strong economies, and from strong economies come prosperity, might and virtue.
