Mandrake Roots

This pale white root bearing a rough resemblance in shape to a person must be harvested off of the mandrake beasts that sometimes roam the forests and shamble into town.

This root when collected, can be given to a master alchemist to make the potent Miracle Cure.

Grim Coachman

This deadly herb is recognized by its black leaves and small black buds.  Required for production of quickvenom, this herb must be carefully handled and stored.  It is the most poisonous of the recognized and used plants.

King's Frond

This rare herb is unmistakable with its large fan-like leaves.  It has the properties of nearly all the common and uncommon herbs.  With a single sample of this herb, an alchemist is able to create four of any basic formula, or two of any intermediate formula (with the exception of bloodfire woad)

Ghost Kiss Rose

This rare flower has leaves and petals of pure black.  Larger than the leaves and buds of the Grim Coachman, the Ghost kiss rose is only currently known to be growing in the garden of Covetous Tender and to soon be growing in the garden of one of the local settlements.  When properly processed, this flower can be made into a tonic capable of seperating the spirit of a person from their body for a short time.

Sunflame

Oposite the nightcloak, this orange and red leafed herb is often found in the open places where the most sunlight can fall upon it’s leaves.  This herb can be used to create four phosphor’s or two healing doses from a single sample.

Nightcloak Mushroom

This rare mushroom is recognized by its grey stalk and dark grey/black cap. Required for the creation of black cordials, Nightcloak is often found near natural caves or other places where the sun rarely touches. Those collecting the nightcloak must do so with caution due to the risk of accidental poisoning. Those who imbide the black cordial will suffer as if they had ingested the poison made from widow’s breath.

Mandrake Root

Mandrake Root is a small white root vaguely shaped in the form of twisted person.  CLose inspection of the root will reveal the appearance of a rough facial form.  Required in the making of miracle cures, to date these roots can only be harvested off of the corpses of mandrakes, humanoid creatures made of plants known for their ability to entrap their victims in vines as well as their continuous screaming.

Mystery Blossom

p>A small herb recognized by its multi-colored flowers and small green leaves. When tested upon, the concoction derived from the the plant showed a different result each time, from glowing to disappearing to crawling around as if possessed. The properties of this plant changes from moment to moment, and the plant itself is a highly potent magical herb that is capable of the most wonderous acts. However, due to the chaotic nature of the plant, the power that it contains is almost impossible to harness, and should not be dealt with lightly.

Red Maiden's Blossom

Red Maiden’s Blossom is one of four herbs that must be found or traded for in order to make its alchemical paste. Often found wrapped in the branches of larger plants, this blood red flower when pressed and mixed with solidifying agents, will create a compound known as bloodfire woad, a paste that will bestow the person who wears it an incredible amount of speed in battle at the cost of the bearer’s health.

Easeleaf

Easeleaf is recognizable by its small fern-like leaves and yellow flowers.  Easeleaf can sometimes be difficult to find due to the animals of the forest who will also forage for this herb for food.  An incredibly useful herb, easeleaf can be used to create two healing doses from a single sample or a single panacea or antivenom.  Samples of this herb should be stored for use during the winter when it is more difficult to forage for fresh samples.
