Dark Lords Love Me

This song was sung by Nicholai Zandros during the battle with Privation.

Hymn to the Unicorn

In light of the Gala this upcoming gather, I felt that while I was in-between meditative retreats I would offer to the citizens of the Realm of Castles a Hymn I have to the Unicorn. I present it here both in the traditional language in which it was written, and a rough translation—VERY rough indeed, as it is an older dialect than I am comfortable translating. As a note, I plan to present this formally by performing it at the Gala.

David's Song

It’s been too long since I’ve added something to the Library…..here’s something I wrote for someone I expect to see again.

When I was just a tiny girl,
My papa oft would say
“Clouds mean gales a-coming,
And there’s lightning on the way.
So run, set out the barrels,
We’ll have water clean and true.
There’s nothing quite so fierce as can’t make one good thing or two.”

So rage on, weather! I’ll take all that you can do! There’s nothing quite so fierce as can’t make one good thing or two.

I met a man named David
And I saw those axes swing.

Life's Wheel

(full circle) Life’s wheel turn again Life’s wheel turn again Come full ‘round, come full ‘round Winter, Summer, Spring and Fall Magic lives in one and all Come full ‘round, come full ‘round

(spring) Life’s wheel turn again Life’s wheel turn again Come full ‘round, come full ‘round Wake the land from out the cold Life is born from death and old Come full ‘round, come full ‘round

(summer) Life’s wheel turn again Life’s wheel turn again Come full ‘round, come full ‘round Change from straw to flowers fair ‘Tis the sign of magic there Come full ‘round, come full ‘round

I am a Flower of Stone

I am a flower of stone,

What to say from my longing heart

like sun if not on me, it doesn’t shine

I am cold and colorless

I am a flower of stone,

What to say from my longing heart

like sun if not on me, it doesn’t shine

I am cold and colorless

I am all sighs and pain

Like a storm full of dust

A drunken wind in the desert

Lost and going in circles around you

If you don’t fall on me like rain,

and you don’t know how I’m doing

I’ll be losing my petals in two days

Your stone heart is softening for me

I am a stone flower

What to say from my longing

The One with the Brave Eyes

Tell the One with the Brave Eyes

I loved her from the first minute

Tell her I love her

And her love took me down to her deep seas

The One with Brave eyes

I was without problems

Living with my empty heart

The brave eyelashes passed and called me

I was lost in the deepest sea

Tell me why it happened

I wonder with much love and worries

Tell her the truth, I’m in love from the first minute

I am lost in the deep seas

Make up her heart

Or make me forget her love.

The Legend of Wooley Swamp

<

p>The old man lived in the Wooley Swamp way back in Booger Woods.
He never did do a lot of harm in the world,
But he never did do no good
People didn’t think too much of him
They all thought he acted funny
The old man didn’t care about people anyway
All he cared about was his money.
He’d stuff it all down in old clay jars
And he’d bury it all around
And on certain nights
If the moon was right
He’d dig it up out of the ground.
He’d pour it all out on the floor of his shack

Under a Violet Moon

Dancing to the feel of the drum Leave this world behind We’ll have a drink and toast to ourselves Under a Violet Moon

Wild Folk with her hair in curls Will make you turn and stare Try to steal a kiss at the bridge Under a Violet Moon

Raise your hats and your glasses too We will dance the whole night through We’re going back to a time we knew Under a Violet Moon

Cheers to the Folks, Hedgehogs, and Moles from rivers, grass, and trees living in an enchanted wood Under a Violet Moon

Tyrsia, what do you see Future in a star Share your secrets, tell them to me Under

The Song from The Old Man of The Mountain

This is the song we were given by the Old Man in the Mountain to counter the Chant of the Beastmen

Crush with boulder slip with scree

Glitter in the sun

Barrier and Bridge we be

Throne and Wall and Run

Drown the sickly and the weak

Slake the thirsting tree

Life and Death found equally

River, Stream and Sea

Char the careless flesh to black

Warm the wanderer cold

Fastest friend to those who lack

Ember, Brand and Coal

One World
