Examination and artopsy of a Frost Heart

This past Winter our town was again visited this past winter by the Ice empress who yet again brought about her minions where the Frost Hearts. I (Willowbark) name them so because of their peculiar corruption I had found within them. Upon examining the bodies (with my esteemed colleague and apprentice Lizzie Ratchetslinger) it was determined that that the Frost heart bore a unique type of corruption where their very hearts where frozen completely.  This unique discovery lead me (Willowbark) to determine that it was the heart itself that which makes a perfect vessel to hold corruption.

Further examination of the Frost Hearts determined that the corruption that laid within the Frost Hearts made them immune to the effects of aging stopping immediately upon taking the corruption. Further it numbed the body and infact strengthened the Host body to become stronger and more durable than most common men. Lastly which I (WillowBark) was sad to find that the Frost Hearts had their emotions removed giving them immunity to anything that is considered a mental attack as they have giving their full will to their empress. At this point I (WillowBark) took it upon myself to remove this Frost Heart’s heart to better examine the heart and which found that in removing the heart the body began to age rapidly catching up to it’s true age which was determined to be ancient at which the body immediately turned to dust.

At this it was determined that with past experience that there was a possible chance that the Frost Hearts could indeed be recovered and functioning again with proper application of cold. At which I am taking upon myself to make sure the frost heart’s hearts are properly removed and disposed of.
