Furbolg and the rituals

During the first year within the forest of door’s before the settlement was made and the wanderlings grouped together in half built buldings to keep warm. It was noticed that strange orange gords like plants begin popping up all over the forest. Having been new to the forest we the new wanderlings thought nothing of it untill the second night of that market gather as the plants began to arise and uproot going about taking straw infigries and tossing them into the fire. Many of the wanderling struck out against these strange creatures only to watch as our blade be turned away by the toughness of the plants. Finnally it was told to us that this was infact a ritual that allowed the seasons to turn. When the ritual was done the pumpkin headed plants returned to the ground.

During the second year again the odd goard shaped plants began to show up again this time when they uprooted they began attacking wanderlings with rootlike claws or burn them with large gouts of fire from their heads.  At this time when Harvest moon approached us we where told that the Furbolgs as they where called where again performing a ritual and that they required for the spilling of blood to complete the ritual. Further that once the sufficient ammount of blood was given the Furbolgs would soon of course become greedy wanting more blood. It was then that the answer of using a pumpkin at the door way could ward away the threat of the furbolgs once the correct ammount of blood was given.

During the third year again the same process happened that the second year .

During the Fourth year the furbolgs reappeared but this time they did not seem to adhere to the old protection of the pumpkin infront of the door. As they would continue to attack with frenzied abandonment upon the wanderlings of nexus. Later that night of that market Gather Harvest moon came to us explaining that Witcher’s Call had come about and that it was attempting to keep autumn going forever. Further to combat Witcher’s call he went about blessing new wanderlings as light bearers which to our knowledge gave the bearer to repel Witcher’s Call pushing him closer and closer into the lake so we could weaken him with the water as it would quench the fire raging within him thus allowing us to defeat him.
