Heaven Pardons in Red Ink
This is possibly one of the greatest swords ever created. It is by far the greatest work Jiyun has ever done and that is saying a lot from such a master weapon-smith. The weapon was created with the thoughts and intentions of the Scholar Sword technique in mind. In the hands of even a moderate swordsman it is magnifies their power by a lot. In the hands of a Scholar Sword practitioner it is truly a work to behold.
The sword is lethal in that it will often help those who swing it to increase their strike by 3 degrees. It is so light and balanced perfect so that an initiated of the 2nd degree of the Scholar sword can both parry and disarm a strike at virtually the same time, a Fencing move that is very difficult. The name of the sword was the Sword’s, it was not given but was “born” with the sword, thus it is iconic. It has a destiny and the one that holds it will share in it. It may cut that which can not be cut, and sever the very laws of reality. The sword is red in color and spills a red ink that can be written with. There are many philosophical meanings to this. Most importantly, Jiyun placed this very sword in “The Waterfall” (meaning unclear) and a poem was written on the water. The Wandering Sage read this poem and Jiyun has since joined him on his journeys to other worlds. What this entails is not entirely clear other than Jiyun as a master has reach a pinnacle that others often tell stories about.
If there was any eye witness to this account, their addition would be welcome here.
I am honored to have touched such a blade and known such a man, even if only for a short time.
