The Horned King (deceased)

The Horned King is a mean Dweller. He takes the likeness of a white tiger and named for the horns on his head. In the first gather in the Merchant Prince’s tent, the Horned King appeared and offered to let us live and pay tribute. The offer was one twist per head each gather and he would send a representative to collect. At the time there was a group among us that called themselves the “Horde” and their leader spoke to the Horned King and refused his offer. A few months later, we fought with the Horned King’s men to free an Apsara that was being held prisoner and forced to teach his magics to the Horned King’s men. We were able to free the prisoner, but the Horned King’s men retaliated on the town. The “Horde” were the only ones who had stayed behind to protect the town and they could not fend off the Horned King’s men before the others returned. We were able to revive the members of the “Horde” as well as those that fell trying to free the Apsara but it is not known if the refusal to the Horned King’s offer is responsible for the disappearance of the “Horde”

In the summer of the third year after the original people of Nexus arrived, a great battle took place on the Mountain.  At the end, many of the people of Nexus had been slain but so had the Horned King, his legendary blade in the hands of one of the townsfolk.
