Laroshen Krell

A man who wanted Rattle Spine, he is also known by the name Laroshen “Truebraid.”

He is a refugee/survivor from the very end of the age of Oun. An apparent dilettante in the martial arts whose wealthy father either tricked or physically pushed him (maybe both) into some sort of “freezing” device. This device was considered highly experimental and was mostly fatal, but apparently Laroshen was one of the lucky few (very very few).

He is one of the few survivors of that ancient time, that is willing to discuss what he knows. Unfortunately, he apparently doesn’t know a whole lot. He is a Master of the Iron Dragon Fighting school, a form of combat that specialized in defense. In this regard, he has shown that the ability to toughen his skin to the point of shrugging of normal strikes.

He has offered to teach his style, but one would need to be able to withstand 3 normal strikes with only their natural vitality as well as resisting three mental attacks with only their natural will. Laroshen has explained that, this form of unarmed combat is not unlike one seen by the Sand River God called the “Sand Dragon Style.”

He also explained, that while he appreciates the katas of “The Scholar’s Sword” and other unarmed versions the Empire of Perfect Unity use for exercise, his forms are very utilitarian and direct (and much fewer).

He has proven time and again to be an ally of Nexus, whenever he happens to be around. Some believe he is possessed of a deep sadness from the loss of everything he once knew, which he hides behind a cavalier and often times lackadaisical attitude
