Pale Madness or The White Plague

This Strange affliction affected the majority of the forest. After much Study this would be my notes that I have gathered.

First encounter: It was first encountered when an Apsara woman entered the Tavern completely enraged and seemingly spreading her disease as if magically. After Downing the woman it was determined that the woman had been dead long before ariving into town and her means of locomotion was a form of corruption.

Second encounter: I encounter another Aspara Male that again was walking about enraged and delirious whilst trying to spread his disease. After downing this fellow and curing and reviving him back. It was noted that he had lost all memory of how he got to where he was. Again the Locomotion of the dead body was a form of corruption.

It was noted about this time from my sources that the madness had spread to other Races.

Third encounter: Occurred on a exploration of the nearby ruins in which a trio of Apsara attacked the encampment. I was able to revive 2 of the 3 Apsara but sadly Wolf took it upon himself to kill the third because I could not revive him in time to be cured. Afterwards when speaking to the survivors it was noted that when they where under it’s effects that they had a sense of knowing those under the Pale Madness as kindred while other not under it’s effects where enemies.

After much work with other encampments and a lot of studying it was determined that the last stage of the Pale Madness was the Plague Risen would become stiff and in mobile. The Risen’s skin begins to flake away and the area around them become highly contagious. Further it was noted by the Alchemist Father Aquinas that the plague seemed to follow the life span of fungi. Further study is required to prove this hypothesis. Further it was noted that to become a Risen, one would have to die from a disease.  No matter the source of the disease and the person would arise as a Pale Madness Risen.
